With a Guitar in Hand
'Ello guys!
After watching the video several times, I finally figured out how to do the forever braid!! Ever since I saw it on MK, Adi's doll, I really wanted to try it out.
These pics were just before it snowed, though sadly all the snow has melted. It is supposed to snow again this Saturday though, so prepare for a snowy photo-shoot.
==================
So when I took Brooke outside for photos, I put her in a bag with her mittens and the guitar. After I was done I put her back on the bag. When I took her out again she had a brown mark on her face.
I think the guitar case rubbed up against her face or hit again her face really hard. I'm not sure how to get rid of the mark. Do any of you guys know how to get rid of it? If you do, comment below. Thanks :0)
Tomorrow I'm going to post pictures of the girl's Thanksgiving dinner!

ReplyDeleteGah!! Super cute photos! I live the forever braid hairstyle- it's one of my favorites! Have you tried using water and soap on the mark? If not, use magic eraser. I posted a video tutorial on my YouTube: agchloeandzoe (I made it a few months ago- how to remove marks off your american girl doll!) xoxo Chloe

DeleteThanks :0)
DeleteI love the way the Forever braid looks too. Even though it takes a while to complete its worth it!
I'll try that. I've been scouring my house all day in search of a Magic Eraser. I just finished watching your video and it was really helpful :0)

The photos are just gorgeous and I really enjoyed looking at them! Her outfit is adorable! I love her hairstyle and you did a fantastic job on it! :)
ReplyDeleteAs for the mark, I suggest using a magic eraser and water, but if that dosen't work you can buy this stuff at Walmart or other stores like that, called scrubbing bubbles. It is in a spray bottle and it will get any mark, besides ink, off your doll. I use it every time I clean my dolls. Or you could try using baking soda and water ( I think AG has a tutorial on it on their website). Hope this helped! :)

Thanks!! I didn't do her hair perfectly but I'm happy with how it turned out :0)
DeleteI'll have to try thoughs tricks. I've actally never heard of scrubbing Bubbles. I check those out too. Thanks for all the tips!!

Okay you did the Forever Braid WAY better than I managed to do it. xD
ReplyDeleteGorgeous photos as always. =)
And the Mr. Magic Erasers are the bomb; I used only it when cleaning up Finley and it worked wonders. Also, I've heard non-acetone nail polish can remove things like that but I believe it can also remove the freckles on dolls as well so... that'd be a more iffy option...
Hope you find something that works. :)

Oh come on. MK's hair was gorgeous!! Thank you though :0)
DeleteI'll have to try both of those. I've had a hard time finding any Magic Erasers around my house, so I might try the nail polish option.

I AM LITERALLY IN LOVE WITH THIS PHOTO SHOOT! I have no words. Your photography just blows my mind. I'm really sorry about the mark. As other people have said, I reccomend using a magic eraser.

Awww, Thanks so much Mint!!
DeleteIt's ok. I'll try Magic Eraser (A lot of people recommend it!) and if it doesn't end well I can always send her to the AG hospital. (Because it was an AG product that scratched her they might do it for free)

That scarf really makes the whol outfit awesome. I am quite fond of anything plaid. About the mark, baking soda and water, scrubbing in gentle circles, like American Girl Place said. May the force be with you!
ReplyDeleteOops I forgot the e in whole.
